It's just west of Foothill Expressway and 280. The track is located to the right of the entrance; you can see it from El Monte as you enter. Parking is $2, and the meters are enforced. Here's a map of the campus.

All athletes are notified of the weekly workout by e-mail. Below, find a sample workout.

Sample Workout

If it is cold, we will keep moving throughout the workout, but bring plenty of loose layers that you can use as you warm up and cool down.

Warm up 1600-3200m

Plyometrics, drills, lunges, lateral movement, bleachers

Strides If you are recovering from racing last weekend:

  • 6 x 400m (RI = 1min)
  • 3 x 200m (RI = jog across field)
  • 2 x 100m (RI = walk to start ) If you didn't race this weekend:
  • 4 x 800m (RI = 60sec)
  • 3 x 200m (RI = jog across field)
  • 2 x 100m (RI = walk to start )

AT LEAST 800m cool down then, as weather permits, stretching and more core strength work, with favorites such as scorpion back bridge with leg extension
single leg standing, eyes closed front bridge for 30sec side bridge hip crossover
inchworm spiderman.
